Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu (UMB), through UMB Global Engagement (UGE) and the Language Center, successfully organized an online sharing session on Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) in collaboration with JANZZ Technology Switzerland. The session featured Hesti Aryani, M.A., a BIPA instructor with teaching experience in Thailand and Switzerland, who also serves as the Director of JANZZ Technology Switzerland.
During the session, participants explored the role of BIPA as a strategic instrument for promoting the Indonesian language and culture internationally. The discussion highlighted effective approaches to teaching Indonesian to international learners, the growing importance of intercultural communication, and opportunities for expanding global collaboration in language education. This collaboration reflects UMB's commitment to strengthening international partnerships and enhancing the quality of language education through knowledge sharing with global experts. It also marks an important step toward expanding UMB's international network and supporting the internationalization of the Indonesian language through meaningful academic cooperation.
