The Global Engagement Office of Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu (UMB), together with related study programs, warmly welcomed the arrival of International Students Batch 2 at Fatmawati Soekarno Airport, Bengkulu. The welcoming activity reflected UMB’s commitment to strengthening international collaboration and creating a friendly academic environment for students from different countries. The students were greeted enthusiastically by university representatives, lecturers, and student volunteers who assisted them throughout the arrival process.
After arriving in Bengkulu, the international students were introduced to the university environment through a campus tour and orientation activities. During the visit, they explored several important facilities such as lecture buildings, the library, student service centers, and learning spaces that support academic and non-academic activities. The Global Engagement team also provided information about campus culture, academic systems, and student life at UMB to help the students adapt comfortably to their new environment.
In addition, the students were guided to their dormitory to become familiar with their new living space and surrounding facilities. The introduction to the dormitory aimed to ensure that the students feel safe, comfortable, and supported during their study period at UMB. Through this welcoming and orientation program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu hopes to build meaningful international friendships and provide the best experience for all international students studying in Indonesia.
