The International Program of Communication Studies at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu successfully organized a Student Internship Program in collaboration with Universiti Sains Malaysia. This international internship program provided students with valuable opportunities to gain academic, professional, and cross-cultural experiences in an international environment.
Held in Penang, Malaysia, the program aimed to enhance students’ practical knowledge and communication skills through direct exposure to international academic and professional settings. Participants were encouraged to develop creativity, adaptability, teamwork, and global perspectives that are essential for future communication professionals in the modern era.
Throughout the internship program, students participated in various academic and cultural activities, including discussions, collaborative projects, institutional visits, and intercultural learning sessions. These experiences allowed students to broaden their understanding of international communication practices while building meaningful connections with lecturers, students, and professionals from different backgrounds.
The collaboration between Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu and Universiti Sains Malaysia demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting internationalization in higher education.
